P.A.U. Kisan Mela (26-27 September 2025)

The Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana is organizing Kisan Mela on 26-27 September, 2025 at its Main Campus, Ludhiana. You are, therefore, invited to participate in the Agro-Industrial Exhibition of Kisan Mela as per following rules/conditions:

Stall Booking

The rent charges of different stalls are as per details given below which are to be deposited with the Cashier in the o/o Directorate of Extension Education through Convener of Agro-Industrial Exhibition of Kisan Mela in the form of Bank draft/At Par Cheque in favor of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Payment can be made online:

Stall Layout and GST Information

  • Stalls 83–94: Super strategic; allotted only with hoardings
  • Standard Stall Size: 18’ (W) × 24’ (D) × 10’ (H) (except where noted)
  • Stalls 16–20: 18’ (W) × 18’ (D) × 10’ (H)
  • Mela Mural 1 & 2: 24’ (W) × 24’ (D) × 10’ (H)
  • Stalls 202–205: 36’ (W) × 12’ (D) × 10’ (H)
  • Stalls 21–35F: Preference given to manufacturing units
  • Mela Map: For illustration only – actual layout may vary

Rules/Conditions

  1. Online registration for stall booking and saving preferences to participate in the draw will be conducted. All companies/firms are requested to register themselves and save their preferences through the link provided on PAU's website (www.pau.edu) or directly at https://stallbooking.pau.edu. Companies/firms that have already completed registration can also save their preferences to participate in the draw. The process of online registration and saving preferences will close at 9:45 AM on 26.08.2025 (Tuesday).
  2. The First Draw for stall booking in all categories (A to F) will be held on 26.08.2025 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Second Draw for the remaining stalls in all categories will be held on 09.09.2025 (Tuesday) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Dr. Khem Singh Gill Farmer Service Centre, PAU Ludhiana.
  3. All registered participants are requested to be physically present at the Directorate of Extension Education on 26.08.2025 (Tuesday) to book their stalls. Stall booking will be processed upon depositing the required amount with the cashier.
  4. Stall allocation will be done via draw in the presence of registered participants seated in the committee room. The amount should be deposited on the same date.
  5. Companies/Firms are allowed to participate in only one draw/category. Within each category (A to F), preference will be given to firms requiring major advertisements like Mela Mural, Mela Stage, Gate No.1, Gate No.2, and Nursery Chowk. Preferences must be selected carefully—no change in category will be allowed during allotment.
  6. Use of music/sound, audio-visual aids, dance drama, and games inside stalls is strictly prohibited.
  7. All stalls must maintain cleanliness and keep dustbins, sanitizer, and face masks (if applicable) at their locations.
  8. Stall possession will be given on 25.09.2025 from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 PM at the Mela Ground. Each stall includes two tables (with cloths) and four chairs. Electricity point charges are extra and to be paid separately.
  9. Changes in location or number of stall can only be made with prior permission of the convener. Unauthorized changes will be penalized.
  10. The interior space can be used as needed but must be restored to original condition upon vacating.
  11. The Agro-Industrial Exhibition will operate from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days.
  12. Activities like watering, digging, or ploughing the Mela ground are prohibited.
  13. No vehicles will be allowed inside the Mela ground on 26 and 27 September 2025 from 7:00 AM onwards. Vehicle parking inside the stalls or mela area is strictly not allowed.
  14. Gate passes will be issued by the Agro-Industrial Exhibition Committee on the last day of the Mela at 5:00 PM.
  15. Only the firm that booked a stall is permitted to exhibit material in that stall.
  16. Materials may only be displayed inside the stall premises.Display and sale of seeds or planting materials are not allowed.
  17. The University is not responsible for any damage caused by natural calamities.
  18. Subletting of stalls is strictly prohibited. A third-party vendor may book on behalf of only one company.
  19. The committee’s decision on stall allocation will be final. Individual inquiries on preferences or rates will not be entertained.
